Fans in Hollywood await release of My Name Is Khan

Mumbai: The ongoing row between Shah Rukh Khan and the Thackerays notwithstanding, it is not only in India that movie buffs are awaiting the February 12 release of Shah Rukh Khan's My Name Is Khan (MNIK) but also in Hollywood.

The latest poll by the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), which calls itself `the biggest, best, most award-winning movie site on the planet,' shows that MNIK is among the 12 releases this month that filmgoers in Hollywood are looking forward to.

The Scorsese-DiCaprio reunion movie, Shutter Island emerged as the most-awaited movie with 47.8 per cent of the votes polled. The classic horror remake, The Wolfman polled 16.6 per cent votes while the Kevin Smith action-comedy, Cop Out garnered 6.9 per cent.

MNIK is there at the 11th place, polling 0.8 per cent votes.The other films, mostly all Hollywood productions, in the list include the `He's Just Not That Into You-inspired, Valentine's Day (5.9%), the kid-lit adaptation, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (4.9%), Pierre Morel's From Paris with Love (3.2%), horror remake, The Crazies (2.7%), Roman Polanski's The Ghost Writer (2.3%), romantic drama, Dear John (2.1%) and horror flick, Frozen (0.7%).
