Okay, so we all know that this is hardly a notable clash in the making. However, the fact is that on paper, it is still a clash of the superstars, although one of them comes with an ‘ex’ tag to him. We are talking about the release of RAB NE BANA DI JODI and WAFAA which would be taking place on the same Friday i.e. 12th December. While the former sees Shah Rukh Khan in the lead a year after his blockbuster OM SHANTI OM, latter sees the comeback of Rajesh Khanna in a film which sadly appears to be an out and out B–Grade venture.
WAFAA was earlier slated to arrive on coming Friday i.e. 5th December but with MAHARATHI, KHALLBALLI – FUN UNLIMITED, DIL KABADDI, GUMNAAM – THE MYSTERY, MEERABAI NOT OUT, OH MY GOD and KAASH MERE HOTE already being confirmed for the same day, it was getting too crowded for comfort. Result? This Rakesh Sawant directed film has now been moved by a week and would be arriving face to face with RNBDJ.
Incidentally, Rajesh Khanna would be having a double bill to his credit this month as he also has an important role to play in KAASH MERE HOTE which arrives this Friday. Prouduced by Shravan Rathod (of Nadeem Shravan duo), this romantic musical is the launch pad for Kumar Sahil who is paired opposite Sneha Ullal of LUCKY – NO TIME FOR LOVE fame. Sadly, this too hardly appears to be a film which would help Rajesh Khanna regain his lost glory.
After two back to back films this December, Rajesh Khanna has promised that he would stay on to be active in 2009 as well. One just hopes that at the least his choice of films improves in months to come.

Now the stupid journalist(s) are pointing out about standard of RAjesh Khanna movies. When during mid 70s to entire 80s, multistar meaningless B or C grade films were the prime demand for Bollywood; this one and only RAJESH KHANNA performed in A class high merit social movies and at that time this very stupid journalist(s) used to pointed out that Kaka is not adjusting himself with the change of time. So by all means Kaka is in the negative side by the media world. Nonsense Media world.
