“3 Idiots” commences principal photography in Bangalore and Ladakh

 Director Rajkumar Hirani’s (Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and Lage Raho Munna Bhai) film “3 Idiots” stars Aamir Khan (LAGAAN) and Kareena Kapoor, appearing together on screen for the first time. Written by Abhijat Joshi, Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani, “3 Idiots” is a satire on the educational system. The film’s principal photography started in August 2008. Two schedules, one in Bangalore and another in Ladakh and Simla, have been completed successfully. The Ladakh schedule was disrupted due to unprecedented bad weather but despite the adverse conditions the crew made a quick shift of base and continued the shoot in Simla. The cast and crew will be leaving for a month long schedule in Bangalore soon.
