Bhansali’s script touched me-Hrithik
Hrithik Roshan is excited about his next film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Hrithik Roshan has become quite choosy of late and this is quite apparent by the fact that the only film Hrithik has signed after his home production Kites is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next. Hrithik confirmed this and said, “Sanjay Bhansali’s film is the only film that I’ve accepted after Kites. I just jumped at it. We’re both very passionate film persons.Though there’s one other script that I’m looking at, nothing touched my soul except Bhansali’s script.”
“I believe he’s passionate and his passion is evident in his films. I thought Devdas and Saawariya were spectacular. I’m no one to judge, but I thought Saawariya was wrongly marketed.Otherwise it was as passionate as his earlier films,” raved Hrithik about Bhansali
Hrithik is also pretty excited about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being his co-star in the film. After all they shared a very special chemistry in Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa-Akbar. “The pairing with Aishwarya will be as special as the film that will project it. It’s always about how committed and passionate the script allows us to be. Given Sanjay’s calibre I don’t see why we won’t be able to recreate the same chemistry again. The project is definitely going into a different territory, in more ways than one,” he said, hinting at a unique shooting location.

(We hear that Sanjay is revisiting Goa for this film, a huge departure from his other set-bound films.)
The film will require a great deal of emotional wrenching from Hrithik. “I feel all the physical pain and turmoil that I’ve gone through in the recent past will add to my experiences as an actor. The more turmoil I go through the better I am as an actor. My work is about creativity and not about the business side of it. I know Sanjay’s film will offer me optimum emotional sustenance,” he signed off.

If after after after SRK i have to i like someone that it would be hrithik…i like everything about him, his acting, his personality and his looks…i dont know why not many media people arent saying much about his great acting than just praising other undeserving actors for their nosense comic act…i hope slb makes a good ovie this time and dont make the same mistake again like with sawariya….

The movie will “need” some controversy to make it limp along. On its own merit, a SLB, and “Lambi Thooddi” combo is dead on arrival. Looks like HR is back to his NTJNH & MDK days. First “Kati Patang” and now this. I hope Roshan senior has Krish 3 ready to compensate for two duds in a row. But if SLB succeeds in making HR act or atleast make him stop twitching his nose, it would be worth it.

In all probability it shud be nothing short of a CLASSIC like Jodhaa-Akbar and shud emerge as SLB’s biggest critical and commercial hit (like Gowariker’s JA) .HR is all set to rock 2009 after capturing 2008.

JA and classic ? LOL Even TV has better drama. Thank God for the controversies, otherwise JA would have been a bigger flop. HR was stiff and goofy in JA.

Its a fantastic news! Gr8 2 hear it officialy than the countless baseless rumours dat surrounded SLB & HR.. I was right when i guessd the heroine was Ash! Anothr gr8 news! As a hrithik fan i was waiting 4 him 2 do a film with SLB.. As both r passionate film persons.. And it was nice of hrithik 2 acknowledge dat fact.. I think he’ll be able 2 derive one of his best performances.. And hrithik-ash pair rocks man! And honestly speaking i just abt ended up liking saawariya! I felt v.bored in d 1st half of film when nothing seemed 2 happen.. But when d story progressd it was nice.. Though i didnt likd d ending.. I think d msg of d film could not be 2 conveyed 2 d ppl 2 love d moments u lovd.. And 2 love evn when u know its only 4 a few moments.. But i admit it was d weakest SLB flick 2 come out.. But still had lots of grace.. Im sure he must have learnt frm his mistake, and paid more emphasis on script.. Looking 4ward 2 it.. And yes JA is a brilliant film.. By far d best of d yr..

JA was no where near a classic. I did not like hrithik in that role, he was not very convincing at all. Personally…Gowaikar had used Aamir and SRK in the past and Hrithik, IMO doesnt meet the standards of the other two actors.
I hope SLB does something good but to bring the HR-Ash jodi again, I dont think it will keep working. Put Hrithik with someone new…has he worked with Bipasha? She can surely act and look great!
I wont be rushing to find out the news for this film…but I wish them all the best!
