Who Rules the interiors?
It is a well known fact that each of the top stars’ new release creates a new record in big cities/regions and it’s a close battle.
But the segregation is relatively clearer in the interior regions.
BOI invariably classifies Bihar,CI, CP Berar as the interior regions of India.

In Bihar definitely HR and AK are way ahead.But in CI and CP …HR,AK and SRK are neck in neck.

True.But i was just checking Bihar records.Most of the movies their fail .They generally prefer the action and raw comedy movies.
The collections are also a refrlction of genres being accepted.
Clearely Romantic movies are accepted more in urban areas and action and comedy movies are accepted more in interiors.
so whats the point?

well 70% of Indian Population doesnt live in villages its 43.26% now according to recent figures generated by govt….plus its very gud thing pointed out by manoj the real superstar is actually d one who is ruling d interiors of India …but at d same time distributors dont flush out prints in these markets like TZP never released in Bihar ….movies like baghbaan are popular in d interiors bcoz of peoples mindset der. der r only 2 big stars in India dats Aamir Khan and Shahrukh khan to be precise one represents quality cinema and acting d other Great Charisma and geniuneness

Manoj ,Indian cinema has gone global now and d films are made by keeping worldwide audiance in mind.Due to diversity of culture and many other aspects,it becomes impossible for every film to entertain d public of all sections.As you may have noticed that the films doing well in the territories mentioned by you are either failures or minor successes on worldwide basis.So if you want to check the star power of any actor,do it on worldwide basis not by checking d records of pockets only because you never will get true picture without doing so.If you will deeply look the boxoffice results of these pockets,u ll still find Mithun and Govinda unmatchable.So does it make any sense?Are they superstars?On conclusion if you look on worldwide basis,there ll b only srk followed by Hrithik.

yeah ,i agree with u,i have already indicated in the first line that films of major stars do well invariably in big cities/overseas(viz. worlwide) and also that NOT ENOUGH revenue is generated from these territories but the point is that success in these regions not only wud be an added bonus but also will indicate an acceptance of that particular star in that territory(s)
shame to comapre record of poor villagers watching movies….it shud be whole india plus worldwide.. and there the most favrt actor is SHAHRUKH KHAN..
