Will Singh Is Kinng Break Om Shanti Om First Week Record?
Q. As distributors get bigger shares in week one is it not better for a film to business in first week rather than later weeks?
A. Of course. The first week is most important, 25 crore nett in week one means a share of of around 14 crore while 25 crore nett in the next 5 weeks means a share of 11 crore as business is today. Every year first week gets more and more important as multiplexes share of business grows.
Rajan Dwivedi, India
Q. How much does Singh Is Kinng need to be a hit?
A. Around 60 crore.
Balraj Virdi, UK
Q. Do you think that Warner Brothers will get 20 crore in Mumbai for Chandni Chowk To China?
A. No they will not get that much because no film till date has collected a 20 crore share from Mumbai. If Singh Is Kinng does as expected they may get around 15 crore which would be a record for the circuit.
Harsha Chandra, USA
Q. Who is the biggest threat to Kareena Kapoor for No1 heroine slot?
A. Katrina Kaif and possibly Deepika Padukone.
M.Noor, UAE
Q. Will Singh Is Kinng Break Om Shanti Om First Week Record?
A. Om Shanti Om and Race did 22 crore nett in their first three days and Singh Is Kinng shouldbreak that by doing about 25 crore unless it is poor in content and rejected by the public. In the weekdays Om Shanti Om did 18 crore while Race did 14 crore, here Om Shanti Om also had the benefit of holidays in various parts of the country. At the moment it has huge chances of beating weekend record and about 60% chance of beating first week record. A better judgement can be made more on in a few days time as a clearer picture emerges of bookings and locations it is released in.

if SIK needs as much as 60 cr for only hit tag ,i dont see a great fate for it at the BO.
SIK is likely to face bans from sikh communities in punjab and delhi for wrongly portraying their look in the film so i m not sure if it wud break oso or race’s record.
Manoj,
Even the promos were pure bullshit. It shold bomb
well i don’t know about BO…bt i liked d promos…though Akshay was as same as he was in his previous film bt it works….nw what can v do if he want to do the same acting same roles same genre all together again n again….bt yeah chances of breaking records is less
breaking records are big words for some repeated stuff from Akki,i dont understand why songs like king is zomba and singh is bomba are doing so well at the first place
,but the promos were funny..its releasing this friday..and the hype is huge,if this film dont have a ‘huge quality’ as same as its hype,Akki would be affected this time becuz there is no YRF to put the blame on as what happened with Tashan…Akki status will be hugley affected as huge as the hype…
i think ppl will go for this movie to view katrina’s sexy legs and for pink panty in the jee karda song……..
Ofcourse this movie will rock and will prve that Akshay is the new KING now….
yes true akshay is a new shehensha amitab is over gone amitab gone
srk is a king and akshay is a new shahensha
akshay and srk u both rock keep it up
akshay has got huge fan following then buchans latest shown in un forgettable tour
SRK kahan se aa gaya. Uska no. to Emraan hashmi ke baad hai…BIG B is the EMPEROR and will always remain. Akhsya is best suited for KING becauae even he could not become a better host than BIG B. Failed like SRK , but still is more versatile then SRK.
FYI, Akhhay is having spe. apperanace in UNFORGETTABLES and so far he has made only 1 entry and that too in Toronto show which was ont housefull. But after that, in Trinidad, LA and SFO, Akshay was not there and BIG B rocked…All shows were HOUSEFUL
Ise kehta hain JALAN……SRK aur uske kutton ki.
JAL rahi hai na….???abhi aur jalaoonga tumhari dekho….BIG B is rocking in UNFORGETTABLES…..

Big B stuns Indians across Caribbean
Since Trinidad was the only Caribbean stop for Big B, Indians flew in here for Sunday’s show by chartered planes from Suriname, Guyana and Jamaica
Port of Spain: Indians from all over the Caribbean flocked to the Queen’s Park Oval here to watch Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya dance to the tunes of their hit songs as part of their Unforgettable Tour.
Trinidad was the second leg of the tour which kicked off in Toronto, Canada, July 18. Since Trinidad was the only Caribbean stop, Indians flew in here for Sunday’s show by chartered planes from Suriname, Guyana and Jamaica.
After a short delay caused by an electrical outage, the show was put on the road by the Caribbean’s noted master of ceremonies Shamoon Mohammed. Seventeen-year-old Shivanna Ragoonanan held the audience’s attention with her renditions of both Trinidad and India’s national anthems on the steel pan.
After that there was no looking back as Preity Zinta and Akshay Kumar prepared the crowd for an enthusiastic song and dance extravaganza with their brilliant performances. Preity set the tone with a couple of scintillating renditions, including “Pretty Woman” from her film “Kal Ho Na Ho.” Large screens had been put up at the Oval to ensure everyone was able to see their favourite stars perform.
Riteish Deshmukh and Vishal Shekhar took over from Preity and Akshay. Then Abhishek was on the frontline, interacting with the crowd, which included former prime minister Basdeo Panday, MP Kamla Persad Bissessar, cultural activist Ajeet Praimsingh and acting director of the Gandhi Cultural Centre Shantosh Misra.
Abhishek recalled that he had come to Trinidad 25 years ago with his father and had a very memorable stay. He thrilled the audience with his electrifying performance of songs from “Dus” and “Bunty Aur Babli.”
Aishwarya Rai got a standing ovation as she took to the stage. She came. She saw. She conquered. She sang and danced, ably supported by her cast on stage and from the audience. The former Miss World was dynamic, thrilling and decisive. She knew what the audience wanted and came prepared to deliver it.
The audience jumped to their feet when Big B took control of the show. Some danced while others sang along as he performed several hits, including “Rang Barse” and “Pichkaree.”
It was truly Amitabh’s show. His mesmeric presence on the stage would continue to linger in the hearts and minds of all those who came to see him performs.
Indian entertainers are very popular among the 500,000 people of Indian origin in Trinidad and Tobago. As soon as the dates of shows by Indian performers are announced, the tickets get sold out.
For the Unforgettable Tour, VVIP tickets were sold at $400, VIP ones for $250, special reserve tickets at $160, reserved area tickets at $90 and general admission for $50.
Since 1964, Indian musicians, dancers and singers have been performing here and this is viewed by cultural thinkers and sociologists as an in-depth initiative to fully re-link with the Indian diaspora who came here mainly from two Indian states - Uttar Pradesh and Bihar - between 1845 and 1917 to work in farms.
Some of the film artistes who have performed here over the years include Hemant Kumar, Manna Dey, Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Abhijeet and Shah Rukh Khan.
The Unforgettable Tour makes its Bollywood invasion
A sold-out L.A. Sports Arena crowd shows its love for Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek and his wife, Aishwarya Rai.
By Nicky Loomis, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
July 28, 2008
Bollywood movies from India are known for their over-the-top spectacle and unabashed theatricality combining music, comedy, drama, glamour — all drenched in outrageous color.
So it’s not surprising that the live show featuring stars of Bollywood cinema, presented Saturday night for 12,000 screaming fans at the L.A. Sports Arena, would be a wild 3 1/2 -hour kaleidoscopic festival, aptly called the Unforgettable Tour.
The tour, which stars some of India’s most famous actors, pays tribute to their best-known roles: The actors perform live renditions of songs from their movies, accompanied by dancers, video footage and glittering light shows. L.A. was the first stop on an eagerly anticipated national tour aimed at the Bollywood faithful around the U.S.
“The people kind of treat them more as family,” said Jai Walia, 23, who attended the weekend show here. For the Bollywood stars “to come to a show like this is very rare.”
The host was Amitabh Bachchan, a fixture on the Bollywood acting scene since the ’70s.
“He’s like your Al Pacino or Robert De Niro,” Walia said of Bachchan. But perhaps with a bit more energy: The 65-year-old Bachchan sang and danced with such force that crowds formed in the aisles to sing along throughout the night.
Bollywood produces more movies than any other national film industry, and actors in India are accorded the kind of treatment familiar to Hollywood stars, including celebrity tabloids — Stardust, Film Fare and others — that follow their every move. Bachchan’s son, Abhishek Bachchan, and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a former Miss World winner, are two of Bollywood’s brightest lights and have a fervent fan base.
“They’re like Brangelina,” said audience member Niyati Jhaveri, a 22-year-old USC student from Gujarat, India.
The show followed two sold-out events in Toronto and Trinidad. Promoted by Mumbai-based Wizcraft International Entertainment, each one costs about $1 million to stage, according to the promoters.
“The first thing that hits you is just the euphoria,” said Abhishek Bachchan, of his first world tour. “It’s an outpouring of love from the audience — it really explodes when actors come on stage.”
Other stars included musicians Vishal & Shekhar, actress Preity Zinta and actor Ritesh Deshmukh. Also highlighting the U.S. tour is Madhuri Dixit, famous for her infectious dance moves.
During his first appearance, Abhishek Bachchan made a surprise entrance through the crowd, sporting sunglasses and a bejeweled jacket as he maneuvered through the screaming fans, surrounded by five security guards. He also performed romantic numbers with his wife onstage as teen girls in the audience howled with glee.
Toward the end of the show, his dad silenced the crowd as he bellowed monologues from some of his movies in his famed baritone, jumping from character to character (think Marlon Brando reading a scene from “A Streetcar Named Desire” followed by one from “The Godfather”).
“He’s the one person who’s been a role model to pretty much the entire industry,” Abhishek said during a press conference last Thursday.
Crowds cheered wildly when Dixit took the stage with dancing partner Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. They performed “Dola Re,” a song from the movie “Devdas,” dancing side by side in some of the most graceful traditional Indian-style moves of the evening.
The evolution of Bollywood dancing has come to include Western styles of dance, including hip-hop, folk and waltz, and those forms were woven into acts in the show by Shiamak Davar, one of India’s leading choreographers.
“Our dance form is an amalgamation of everything,” said Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “That’s what has existed in our cinema the whole time.”
Next stop on the U.S. tour is San Francisco, followed by Houston; Atlantic City, N.J.; Chicago; and New York. Then the tour goes on to London, Holland and Germany.
Noted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: “The audience is a lot more international — the music is so universally embraced.”

An ‘Unforgettable’ Bollywood show in San Francisco!
30th July 2008 22.00 IST
By Nitika Desai
The Oracle Arena in San Francisco was packed to the rafters as more than ten thousand fans crammed in for what was to be truly an ‘Unforgettable’ Bollywood experience.
An unabated excitement filled the air as fans sauntered in for the San Francisco leg of ‘The Unforgettable Tour’, which is helmed by the Bachchans and also features the Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit (for the US concerts). This correspondent of ApunKaChoice attended the concert and is witness to the scintillating performances and the euphoria of the rapturous San Franciscans who were left asking for more by the entertaining Bollywood stars on the evening of Sunday, July 27.
The din and noise of the excited crowd broke into a unison scream as the show began with a lively performance by Ritesh Deshmukh . Preity Zinta took over and danced and hopped around the stage with her characteristic buoyancy. But it was with the entry of Abhishek Bachchan that the crowd got charged up. Rather than coming from backstage, Abhishek decided to get close and personal with the crowd by making an entry from the rear of the auditorium, smiling, waving and shaking hands with his enthusiastic fans as he headed for an energetic performance.
After his solo act, Abhishek himself announced the next performer, and it was (no prizes for guessing) Aishwarya Rai , who was gorgeous and dazzling as ever in her dances.
Enough song and dance done, it was time for some serious message. Jaya Bachchan came on stage and made an earnest pitch for a green planet. The point being convincingly made, the evening moved on with performances by music composers Vishal-Shekhar who got everyone in the auditorium on their feet with their powerful act.
The show reached its mid-way and it was time for the ‘Big’ act to follow. Amitabh Bachchan – magnetic as always – came on stage and got the crowd mesmerized with the songs he sang live in his deep baritone. Among the songs he sang was the ever-green ‘Rang Barse’ (from ‘Silsila’) which sent the crowd in raptures. The Big B also steered the gathering into a pensive mood with his evocative recitals of dialogues from his films (like Kabhie Kabhie and Deewar ) and also the poem ‘Agnipath’ , written by his late poet father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
Another big act of the evening was the performances by the ravishing Madhuri Dixit . Though she may have distanced herself from films of late, the diva still had that grace and charisma in her dances that got the crowd transfixed. And then there was also that talked-about union of Madhuri and Aishwarya – two of the best-lookers from Bollywood – as the two ladies performed their song ‘Dola Re’ from Devdaas .
There was also a long segment in the concert where Abhishek, Aishwarya, Preity and Ritesh paid homage to Amitabh Bachchan by performing to a medley of songs from the superstar’s films.
All in all, the concert lived up to its name and had all the glitz, gloss, glamour, bling and opulence of Bollywood. Every star regaled the audiences in their way but most taalis were reserved for the Big B and Madhuri.
The concert reached its crescendo with the final act when all the stars jived together to the powerful number Jhoom Barabar Jhoom .
I bet many San Franciscans are still reeling from the ‘Jhoom’ effect.
=================
The Amitabh Bachchan led Unforgettable Tour is drawing packed crowds despite massive ticket rates, once again reviving a format (The Bollywood Concert) that was being said to have lost its sheen in recent years.
Bachchan fans and Bollywood buffs have been queuing up to grasp a view of Bollywood’s biggest stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, Ritesh Deshmukh and Preity Zinta among others.
Says a source, “Ticket prices and seating capacities for other stars’ concerts in recent past have been lower than the Unforgettable Tour but they still did’t draw nearly the crowds this tour is getting”
In fact the Rockstars show led by Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, John Abraham and Kareena Kapoor reportedly could sell only 300 tickets in London when the stars were last there. In Birmingham, the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor highlighted concert drew a turnout of barely 2000 against a capacity of 18000.
In contrast, the Bachchan tour drew over 13,000 in Toronto alone, and the crowds have since been only growing. Over 16,000 were reported in Los Angeles last Saturday.
Amitabh Bachchan is credited as the pioneer of the Bollywood Concert. He started the phenomenon in the early 1980s, over 25 years ago. What makes Bachchan concerts different from the others is that unlike rest of the stars, Bachchans do their own playback, especially Amitabh Bachchan. The tours may be among the last times the superstar may be seen on stage and the fans have queued up, often up to the rafters (see picture above).
Says a well placed source, “This could be the highest grossing and attended tour of all tours.”
i dont talk to fanatics loser

Another proof of SOLD out show….
LISA TSERING
India-West Staff Reporter
OAKLAND, Calif. — For a few moments just before the start of “Unforgettable,” a silent calm descended over a tiny, dark corner backstage at the Oracle Arena here July 27.
As techno music boomed in the background and thousands of fans chattered excitedly, waiting for the show to begin, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta and Ritiesh Deshmukh held hands, standing in a small circle in the half-darkness. Amid the swirl of activity, for a few quiet moments, they prayed.
When their eyes opened, they turned to Abhishek, who took a deep breath and shouted to the small group, “What time is it?!”
They roared back: “Showtime!”
And with that, “Unforgettable” was underway.
“Unforgettable” played to nearly sold-out crowds in Oakland and the previous night at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. The multi-million-dollar “Unforgettable” tour will hit 11 cities this summer, organized on a grand scale by Wizcraft Entertainment. Wizcraft, the influential Mumbai-based events producer, has made its star-tour debut with this show, and its splashy staging — complete with 40 dancers, a live band, an elaborate stage setup, and huge props that included giant folk-art dolls, colorful banners and huge red and gold flames — have set a new standard that future Bollywood shows will be hard-pressed to top.
The show marked the first time that Indian film’s “first family” was touring together since the April 2007 wedding of Aishwarya Rai to Abhishek Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan, at 65 India’s most regal superstar, toyed with his larger-than-life persona in an extraordinarily energetic performance that belied the fact that he was suffering from a cold and chest infection that would have lesser mortals whimpering under the covers.
Bachchan — the star of all of India’s stars — stalked the stage in dark glasses and a midnight blue velvet jacket, offering up songs from his nearly 40-year career such as “Main hoon Don” and “Rang barse,” and dancing calypso-style as two dozen dancers twirled behind him while highlights from his films were splashed in brilliant color on a huge screen behind him.
Yet Bachchan was always ready to cede stage time to others — by allowing Madhuri Dixit to make her entrance after his; and by letting his son, Abhishek, perform some of his own classic songs such as “Kaike paan Banaraswala.”
During a song later in the evening he paraded among gigantic folk statues onstage, each one representing a different region of India — not as a superstar but as part of an ensemble of performers.
At one point, Bachchan honored his father, Harivanshrai Bachchan, by reciting his Hindi poem “Agneepath,” and the multiple-award-winning actor and veteran of 150-plus films held the audience riveted with dialogues from “Kabhi Kabhie” and “Deewar.”
Abhishek Bachchan, a macho millennial hero in his own right, makes his live show debut with the “Unforgettable” tour. He made a dramatic entrance from the back of the arena, passing through grasping throngs of fans before climbing into a huge metal cage onstage, which then drifted on cables out over the heads of the crowd.
Bachchan’s swagger struck the right tone on hip-hop-tinged songs like “Ticket to Hollywood,” “Dus bahane” and “Bunty aur Babli’s” “Dhadak dhadak.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made another dramatic entrance, perched in a giant silver star that descended from high above the stage. Dressed in form-fitting black, she moved sinuously to hit songs such as “Krazy kiya re” and “Dhoom dhoom.”
“I love you!” Rai told the crowd breathlessly after her performance. “I’m glad you love my family, and I’m glad you love our films. This is the perfect opportunity for us to say a heartfelt thank you to you.”
The ensemble spirit was alive and well as Priety Zinta, in a red and gold ballgown that organizers explained was a last-minute costume decision (her bags, as well as those of Amitabh Bachchan’s, had been misplaced by the airlines), performed to hits that included “Where’s the party tonight?” and “Pretty woman.”
Flashing her dimples coquettishly to the crowd, Zinta danced her way through three costume changes in her first set alone, keeping a high-energy vibe.
The high-pitched, familiar “Namaskar!” heralded the arrival of Madhuri Dixit, who appeared on a raised platform as a rhythmic instrumental piece from “Dil to Pagal Hai” played. Dixit, dressed in a black bodysuit embellished with silver sequins, easily connected with the crowd, who relished every smile and sassy head shake.
The petite powerhouse, who left the industry to raise a family before launching a comeback last year with “Aaja Nach Le” and, reportedly, an upcoming comedy film, was by turns playful and sensuous as she danced to “Que sera sera,” “Ek do tin” and a joyful, animated version of “Aaja nach le.” It was her bold, stylized moves to “Dhak dhak karne laga,” though, that made the greatest impact, and the audience roared in appreciation.
Riteish Deshmukh moved into the audience for a short, humorous trivia game, and made a memorable impact dancing to songs from “Cash” and “Heyy Baby.”
One of the high points in the show found Aish, Abhishek and Ritiesh performing a well-received medley of best-loved Amitabh Bachchan hits that included “Sara zamana” and — of course! — “Jumma chumma.” The artists took turns performing together on “Kajra re” and “Rock and roll soniye.”
In some previous Bollywood star shows, the inclusion of a singer to the lineup has often meant a sharp drop in energy, but not so in the case of this Wizcraft-helmed show: the energy levels shot even higher when Vishal-Shekhar hit the stage.
The composing-singing duo got a phenomenal response to their exuberant performance to their soundtrack from “Om Shanti Om,” leading the audience to its feet on songs like “Ajab si,” “Dard-e-disco” and “Deewangi deewangi.”
California Attorney General Jerry Brown — who told India-West backstage that he was a veteran of several Bollywood star shows — welcomed the artists to Oakland, saying he admired the artistic and cultural links between India and the United States. “The link is not just technology, but cinema and music,” he said, entreating the crowd to “let our human spirit soar.”
Bhangra Empire, a local bhangra troupe from San Jose, Calif., opened the show in Oakland.
Paul Singh of Singh Entertainment, the show’s Northern California promoter, said later, “I’m very much happy with the way the show went. Everybody’s satisfied. We delivered on our promise to our sponsors as well.”
Manoj Kaytee of Super Entertainment, which handled the Southern California leg of the “Unforgettable” tour, explained that his team had been preparing for the show for up to four months in advance, but all the effort and expense were worth it. Wizcraft’s high standards demanded nothing less. “The audience saw something they had never seen before,” said Kaytee. “I’m still getting e-mails from people who wanted to tell me it was a great show.”
The “Unforgettable” tour also had a serious message — the tour is aiming to raise awareness for the “Light a Billion Lives” campaign, an initiative of The Energy Resource Institute of India headed by Nobel Laureate Dr. R.K. Pachauri.
Jaya Bachchan made an appearance onstage to invite the audience to learn more about, and donate to, the LABL campaign, which aims to provide solar-powered lanterns to light up the lives of one billion people across nine countries in Asia and Africa.
The day after the concert, Amitabh Bachchan announced that the “Unforgettable” tour was doing its part for the environment as well, by flying its team on commercial flights (forgoing private planes) and by downscaling the staging of the show to save electricity — though the show’s look was so dazzling that no difference could be seen from the audience.
Lolzzzzzzz baazigar……

My Long Cherished Dream of seeing ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ came true in Toronto. He brought back my old memories of seeing him on Big Screen in 1970’s by singing and dancing hit numbers from DON, DEEWAR, Yaraana, Kalia, Silsila, Amar Akbar Anthony etc. which are all my favorites, electrifying the entire Stadium and enthralling 10,000 plus audiences, who all were humming to the tunes. My special thanks to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and the entire team for making this event ‘The most Spectacular Live Show I have ever seen in USA/Canada’. I was dying to hear Amitabh’s voice. His unforgettable dialogues with his ‘Unforgettable Voice’ from movies like Deewar, Kabhie Kabhie etc. were a blessing in disguise. Last but not least, he also entertained young audience with his new movie hits.
I had never expected ‘Jaya Bachchan’ in Toronto. We all were taken a back when she appeared on stage. My hearty thanks to Jayaji for joining the ‘First Family of Bollywood’. We all remember Jaya Bhaduri from good old days of ‘GUDDY’.
Abhishek Bachchan was looking ‘HOT’ and ‘STUNNING’ and driving girls crazy. He stole my heart by dancing to numbers from Don and Silsila. For a moment I felt I am reliving the moments of Amitabh Bachchan of 1970’s. I truly adore him.
Rhitesh Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, Vishal-Shekar added an extra fuel to the already HOT Stadium atmosphere. All-In-All, it was a memorable event, which will be the last stage show from Amitabh Bachchan considering his age. So, if you are a Bachchan’s fan, then there should not be any second thoughts. Get, set and Go and buy the tickets.
Many hearty thanks to Amitabh Bachchan for organizing shows of this magnitude all over the world. Also my hearty Congratulations to the entire team for making the premier show a Grand Success. May GOD give ‘First Family’ of Bollywood, a long long long long long long long healthy, active and cherished life. Good Day Sir!
Note: All negative messages posted here and elsewhere is the negative media campaign from SRK fans, who always write bad things about Big B without seeing his movies or shows. When you are dealing with these kinds of fools, better ignore them and give them a ‘GET WELL SOON’ flower.
this is to all sharukh khan fans that amitabh is bigger than srk

Vijay,
leave it yaar. i CAN ONLY SAY FAMOUS DIALGUE FROM ONE OF BIG B’S HIT MOVIE…
“SAAND JAB GUZARTA HAI, TO BAKRI KI CHAI-CHAI AUR PAI-OPAI SE USE KOI FARK NAHI PARTA…
if srk is machar then AMITAB IS A makhi
machar is more dangerous who can also kill man with his dangue viruse
and srk is a dangerous machar who has killed phiki makhi with his dung
machar is more dangerous
makhi only spread germs, nothing do dangerous
srk machar has killed phiki AMITAB MAKHI germs spreader lolz z
no baziggar srk is machar because amitabh is so big that a machar needs a binocular to see it and buzz it like buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.got it
Shahenshah, Don, Kaalia, Mard, Mr. Natwarlal … - Ever thought why are there so many titles given to a single man?
Ever thought why was he the only one to rule the 80’s?
Ever thought why did/does he have more fans than anybody else?
Ever thought why nobody else who tries to act like him (Shahrukh Khan) doesn’t succeed?
If your answer is no to any of the above questions, you shouldn’t even read any further!
If your answer is yes to all of the questions, you know what I am talking about.
And if there are some yes’s and some no’s, you are confused
where do amitab fans goes when his film releases ?? to see sholay?? lolzz
vijay
so ur saying amitab was not a mard,
shame on u vijay
u r insulting amitab shame on u
arun n these guys just publicizing the show…let them do their job assign to them yar…!!
SRK is d only KING….
akki…is good bt he certainly have to get off to comedies…
Baazigar,
“where do amitab fans goes when his film releases ?? to see sholay?? lolzz”"
The same place where SRK fans went when his Panchwi paas who was being aired on show and FLOPPING BADLY
srk is no doubt no 1 den followed by akshay, hrithik,
amitab is in last line since 1985
even emraan hashmi with solo film like jannat and shahid kapoor has also proved with jab we met
that there film can easily 30 crore with less no of prints
while buchans with multistarrer film three big names like amitab, abhishek and aish can only have a total collection of 33 crore on very huge number of prints
so this proved that emraan hashmi and shahid kapoor r better and bigger superstar than buchans in combine packet lolz..z
even srk has made a low budget film chakde india blockbuster and had a very gud opening of 21 crore with 385 prints
while buchans in altogether only have a 23 crore opening for a movie sarkar raj with huge number of prints 750-800 prints
buchans r not superstars, they always need some one to help them in a film like shahrukh khan, hrithik, and john and etc etc
lolz..z
arun
“The same place where SRK fans went when his Panchwi paas who was being aired on show and FLOPPING BADLY”
go and ask from some trade who is floping srk shows is floping or sarkar raj has floped miserably
and oso has proved srk fans power and srk powers
if not in oso
then in chakde india which got 21 crore opening with less no of 385 prints for a hockey film
while sarkar raj got 23 crore opening with 750-800 prints for a
film which has actions heroine songs {govinda govinda }
now this is the power of srk in comparison with buchans

Yesteryear actor Manoj Kumar on Tuesday filed a case against actor Shah Rukh Khan, Producer and Director Farah Khan and Sony Entertainment Television seeking to delete a scene from the movie Om Shanti Om .
Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan had earlier assured Kumar that the scene, which makes fun of him, would be deleted from the movie.
However, this did not happen and the movie was screened in all theatres without the deletion of the scene.
Kumar has now approached the Sessions Court seeking a stay on the telecast of the movie, which is to be aired on August 10 on Sony Entertainment Television.
The matter will come up for hearing on Wednesday.
good news Nishit. SRk deserved this ….by insulting Manoj Kumar, he has insulted the national hero, patriotism, our country India of which he also is the citizen. Why the hell didnt he make fun of Dilip Kumar as his gestures were equally comical…
SIK needs about 90 crores to get a 50 crore share to be a blockbuster
Lo bhaiya Nishit, Vijay, Rizwan….
One more news which is so true….I wonder what will SRk fans do now? Seethe with anger or frustrations. this is exactly the point I am making…BIG B at age 66….in the industry for 40+yrs now…and still rocking….the concert Unforgettables in overseas. Who has such BALLS to do this???

Shah Rukh Khan may call himself King Khan [Images] but Akshay Kumar [Images] feels that the real king of Bollywood is Amitabh Bachchan [Images].
“In my opinion, the real king of Bollywood is Amitabh Bachchan,” Akshay said, at an event to promote his new film, Singh is Kinng [Images]. “He has been in the industry for the last 40 years while we have been here for 15 years only. To become a king, you don’t need money and power. You must have positive energy and Mr Bachchan has that.”
“I have done seven films with Amitji and he is so humble and down-to-earth,” Akshay continued. “If a controversy erupts from my statement, I don’t mind. I really feel he is the king of our industry.”
Akshay seemed to gel very well with Amitabh Bachchan after the Unforgettable tour, where they performed together in Toronto.
“My competition is with newcomers, not with people of my age group,” Akshay went on to say, referring to the three Khans.
When a reporter congratulated him on making Katrina Kaif’s [Images] career a success, Akshay replied, “Why are you singling her out? You can say she made me successful. I have done hit films with her, as also with [producer] Vipul Shah and colleague Javed Jaffrey [Images], with whom I have done films earlier. Filmmaking is all about teamwork and we are all responsible when a film clicks.”
Singh is Kinng is set to release with a record number of 1,800 prints on August 8. The last big film to release a large number of prints was Om Shanti Om [Images] with 1,500 prints last November.
