Jodhaa Akbar is celebrating its silver jubilee week in Mumbai. The film is running in three theatres in the city. Dreamland, Cinemax Sion and Fame Malad have the film on matinee shows.
Jodhaa Akbar is the biggest worldwide grosser of 2008. It grossed 63 crore nett (96 crore gross) in India and 31.25 crore overseas. The worldwide total was over 127 crore.
Jodhaa Akbar starred Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Sonu Sood, Khulbushan Kharbanda, Poonam Sinha and Raza Murad. The film was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker who also produced the film alongwith UTV. Music was by A R Rehman and lyrics by Javed Akhtar.

Jodha Akbar has showed Hrithik Roshan Pull at the Box Office. A Real Star is that who makes a Movie Success in difficult Situations and Hrithik Roshan has passed it with Flying Colours. Now the Pressure will be more on Hrithik Roshan to Deliver Goods.

Those who can give better products will always have better run on BO. Else tell me why did panchwi paas show failed to garner good trp’s despits SRK’s massive fan following and that too people wree not supposed to buy any tickets as for films…????
Arun,agreed PP didnt have as much TRPs as say KBC1 but the number of channels have increased drastically(which is in direct proportion to increased competetion),also the point to note is that PP has BETTER TRPs than dus ka dum and KKK.

All these are excuses buddy, let’s face that SRK has been a FLOP in 2008 and a superstar is only fit for those who remain consistent trhoughout. Now have breaks in years…

How can akshay be a hit when his tashan and fear fact6or failed miserably. KING’s show has better trp than akshay’s and salman’s.
When in a flop film like Tashan, it’s the actor who is praised for his screen presence then that means good times are ahead of him. With tashan flopping, Akshay’s career is still undamaged as amongst all this, he got critics backing also for the film. And he was sole saving grace of the film.
RNBDJ will not open as well as Singh Is Kinng in India. Going by trade, SIK is going to be a juggernaut on its first day smashing all records.

Mohan, don’t underestimate the power of SRK at the box office. RNBDJ will smash records worldwide. SIK is nothing compared to RNBDJ. Plus it is too early to make a statement like that about RNBDJ, we still don’t know much about it.

RNBDJ will not have a big enough release compared to SIK. These type of films have to be released accordingly, They will not release it like a mass films SIK, Welcome or OSO.
RNBDJ could go on to gross 100 crore but its unlikely first week will be more than 40 crore

U may say whateveru want to , but the point is that SRK is going to be soon finsihed since he is not doing any variety of rols. Akshay kumar is the new KING along with Aamir and Hrithik. Amitabh was, is and will always remain EMPEROR i,e. Shahenshah for many more time. SRK is in 40’s and soon he will be over because of romantic roles.
