Sarkar Raj is a flop bcoz…
After recently watching Sarkar Raj and Aamir ,I realized why the former was bashed by critics and audiences alike.Following are some genuine reasons:
1. Sarkar Raj is a flop because it is the biggest disappointment of 2008.(more than Tashan).
2. Sarkar Raj is a flop because it has very ordinary performances from the lead.
3. Sarkar Raj is a flop because the story is extremely predictable.
4. Sarkar Raj is a flop because the dialogues and ‘punch’ lines were too kiddish.
5. Sarkar Raj is a flop because its competition,a small film Aamir,turned out to be a much superior product.
6. Sarkar Raj is a flop because it was released with a number of prints equal to OSO/Race but did half their business.
7. Sarkar Raj is a flop because it has exposed bachchans BO status.
8. Sarkar Raj is a flop because Amitabh thinks RGV is a talented director.
9. Sarkar Raj is a flop because RGV thinks Abhishek is a better actor than Amitabh.
10. Sarkar Raj is a flop because IBOS calls it a hit.
11. Sarkar Raj is a flop because even bachchans know it but still refuse it.

AAMIR ..in fact is the movie of the year so far and Rajeev Khandelwal for me is a star material (Better than Imran,harman and Ranbir for sure)
Rajeev Khadelwal was good but I dont think AAMiR was something extraordinary,i dint liked the movie.The documentry style worked but not the movie
1. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because it is been declared by TOI, Indiatimes, Indiaexpress, CNN-IBN and IBOS and also the biggest fact that SR has been featured as one of the 4 hits in first half of BO report in 2008.
2. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because it has very extra-ordinary performances from the lead actors without songs, without actions, without romance
3. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because the story is extremely gripping.
4. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because the dialogues and ‘punch’ lines were too classy and hi-fi for some people to digest who can only appreciate chocolatey romance without any storyline.
5. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because its competition,a small film Aamir,turned out to be a good product, else it would have been a SUPER-HIT.
6. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because it wasn’t released with a number of prints equal to OSO/Race but did decent business in India and overseas.
7. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because it has shown that bachchans BO status can’t be questioned. Infact HITS or flops, AB’s status is unaffected. As rightly said by directors that BIG B is above number game. He has reached an iconic status which no one can match.
8. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because Amitabh rightly belives that RGV is a talented director. And it’s HIT becuase even after 2 months of its release, people are talking about this film and not even YRF’s TPTM which flopped. That’s the power of Bachchans which exposes the insecurities of SRK fans.
9. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because RGV thinks Abhishek is a better actor than Amitabh. (”"But I thought, SRK fans never believed Amitabh to be a better actor anyways ever”")
10. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because IBOS, INDIATIMES, REDIFF, INDIAEXPRESS, HT calls it a hit.
11. Sarkar Raj is a HIT because even SRK fans are jealous and can’t stops the BACHCHANS in any which way. They still have good films in hand and people love to work with them. They are UNSTOPPABLE and UNFORGETTABLES…. The SHOW IS ON!!!!
well said. sarkar raj was really a flop movie. did not like a bit and i could not belive when IBOS said it was hit.More than the amithabh and family were celebrating saying it was hit.wierd family…

Arun,u say TOI declared SR a hit,just peep into my archives for the article(published in TOI/indiatimes) titled “Whose hit is it anyway ?” and check the 2nd last para which says:
“Recently, when a producer proclaimed that his ‘political’ film was a hit, a leading distributor sent him a legal notice, saying, “Please don’t put up hoardings over the city proclaiming your film is a hit. I know how dismal the figures are. If you continue with your charade, I will be forced to sue you because otherwise I’ll have the income-tax officials at my doorstep.”

and SR did release with a no. of prints equal to oso/race ,in other words with an occupancy which cud have fetched them Rs 40-45 cr if it had opened well ;but it managed half of that.(23.5 cr in week 1)

1.SR is not a flop because you guys are still insecure of BIG B and try to portray it as a flop, and in vain.
2.SR is not a flop because not only IBOs, but a whole string of other sources have also claimed it to be a HIT.
And fyi, BIG B is rocking UNFORGETTABLES. I know what will SRK fans next counter attack? Its blockbuster because of Akshay. Well let me tell u that besides Toronto, Trinidads are going ga-ga over Bachchans and Akshay was definitely not there with them here. Just see the power of BIG B as age 66…Let me see who has the guts to recreate this after few years…. Ur SRK is busy enough doing cheap stuffs by dragging in Aish’s name( she is a married lady now and should be respected for that) a Kat’s bday party. And u call this person a dignified??? huh…
SRK’s tour had more than double the fans in Amsterdam, and most were white, while in toronto, canada, there is a large indian population.

4. Who is saying that that Shah Rukh Khan Fans are Jealous of Amitabh Bachchan? Only Amitabh Bachchan Fans because Fact is near them and still they are not accepting it that Sarkar Raj has Flopped and Bhootnath Above Average because of Shah Rukh Khan.
5. RGV thinks Abhishek is a better actor than Amitabh. First of all Abhishek is an ordinary Actor and RGV thinks that He is better than Amitabh, so he is insulting Amitabh nothing else. And to prove there point Amitabh Fans are showing us this statement shows that even Amitabh Fans agree that every actor is better than Amitabh. Instead of defending this point they should argue on that, but what to do they are busy posting there nonsence which has no logic.
6. After 2 Months still Amitabh Fans are talking about Sarkar Raj which was out after 2nd week. Just shows there stupidity nothing else. People are talking about JTYJN and Amitabh Fans are doing Sarkar Raj. which no one is interested.
give me the nos. raja and dont bark just like that. let SRK reproduce half of BIG B’s charisma at age 60, then we will see.
Arun only you is calling Sarkar Raj Hit, even Amitabh Fanatics Fans are not calling it Hit. Grow up and move on. There are other things to do instead of wasting time on stupid things.
And main thing is your heart knows what truth is and instead of posting lie, listen to your heart and post the truth. Amitabh was and Shah Rukh Khan is. You can’t say that, no problem. But don’t make fun of yourself by calling every Flop Amitabh Movie as Hit, which even you cann’t prove. I asked you show me one Trade Journal which says Sarkar Raj is Hit and you are showing me Newspaper Report which have 2 stories on Sarkar Raj. 1 Story Hit and other story Flop.
By this your credibility is proved which is Nil. And who is CNN-IBN and IBOS? Are they Trade Journals? What is there credibility? Does general public know about them? No. So stop your nonsence.
Arun what BIG B’s charisma? Main thing is Popularity and Shah Rukh Khan Popularity is more than Amitabh at age of 42 compared to Amitabh age 42. Amitabh at age 42 had no Solo Blockbuster and Solo All Time Blockbuster and the prove is Trade Journals.
