Any actor whose all last 5 films have been recently released (like akshay kumar ,4 in 2007) would be at an advantage over others due to development of multiplexes,increased number of prints and inflation etc.
Based on collections of last five films,the scenario is:

I would appreciate if you take Overseas Collection also in to consideration for all.
That would make your comparison a bit more authentic and overseas collection form a substantial proporation of total collection.For Example KANK groosed 44cr overseas and alone recovered the costs of the movie.Dons scollection of 32 cr from overseas is almost the entiire cost for the movie.
So overseas is a very sigficant factor.Appreciate if you do not ignore them

One thing to notice here is all most all SRK and HR movies are solo movies (with an exception of Dhoom 2 ) where as for other actors most of them were multistarrers.
For Aamir,TZP would be remembered more for his Direction(If he is the real director) than as an actor because he is not the lead actor in the movie .In TZP aamir shared the screen equally with Sidharth,Kunal Kapoor and Sharman

this is list of domestic gross,overseas i have already given in earlier article where srk had 7/10 films in top ten.
at the end of the day,if a film doesnt do well in india ,its termed flop (take eg of swades,did extremely well in overseas but not so in India)

agreed here ,most of akshay(especially) movies have been multistarrers,he wud hope for SIK to do it for him.

srk ,Hr and aamir r always going to there in top 3,we will have to wait and see if akshay can displace 1 of them thru SIK(if it does well)

Agree with you.Most of the trade do so.
But i belive,people like you and me (Who are more sensible) should take overall figure in to consideration and develop our own rating.Because this should make the entire thing more authentic.
Even some movies do not do well in all circuits in INdia.But if they do well in certain circuits(Mumbai and North) they are termed as all india hits.So we shouldnt ignore an importnat territory like Overseas which contributs more than 30 % to the entire revenue. and may contribute up to 50 % in near future.

SRK is undisputed king of overseas
5 out of his(SRK) 7 films are ATBB in overseas,a phenomenon!

manoj i thought kareena and katrina will lead :s in 2007 aish has nuthin while kareena & katrina were more successful..anyways am not good at this BO thing lolx…btw what if both SIK and rnbdj succeed..things will be more than interrestin (h)
