Imran Khan Is A Star
Its been more than eight years that Hrithik Roshan came onto the scene with a bang. Hrithik was accepted by the public and his film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai did extremely well at the box office. After that there have been stars which the public liked but their first films were not accepted, a good example is Ranbir Kapoor last year and even Harman Baweja whose Love Story 2050 released last week. But for Imraan the public have accepted him and his film Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na is no doubt going to be a blockbuster.
The collections coming in are excellent from all over India, most theatres are showing 75%+ collections over the first week with cinemas in Pune and Bangalore doing 90%.The multiplex theatres in key centres like Chandigarh, Lucknow, Nagpur and Indore have all shown 75%+ collections in week one which shows acceptance in the mini metroes.
The first week saw Jaane Tu… playing on around 375 (90 digital) cinemas and in week two this figure has gone to around 475 (140 digital) cinemas.
We already have Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan amongst the top stars and maybe namesake Imran Khan will join them soon.

Yes, but don’t forget the BACK for both the actors. Otherwise if you see the start of the career who has started with what character? A huge factor has been played a roll to make Imran Khan famous, if he is….If you MINUS, Amir Khan, then will people had gone to see the film with that excitement? Not at all. In fact if we minus Amir Khan & his premier’huge amount of bollywood turn up, then this actor will be rated hardly 2/10 and so will be the film. Because if you are looking for the acting its nothing like that in the film, yes, just masti mazaaq is a lot there, and if people call it an acting then, yes,then the film was something because of all the psychological effects. Otherwise …..you know what I mean to say. But I am not underrating the film at all, yes, it was a fun film and people might have enjoyed because of that.

I appreciate Imran more because unlike Harman, he wasnt trying to copy anybody- he came in with his own identity while Harmen on the other hand, tried to dance like Hrithik, talk like Hrithik and emote like Hrithik (forgot about looking like Hrithik- he cant do anything about, like he said “blame his parents” but if he went for surgery to look like Hrithik, then it’s another story)
Harman better clean up his act because nobody like clones (even Shahid for awhile suffered becoz he was trying to act like SRK but he got his act straight and became his own personality instead of being another SRK)

I did not see LS2050 yet but Harman was over the top even in the soundtrack. I really hate the way he did his dialogues before the songs, especially those before Milo Na Milo and Milon Ka were so cheesy and over the top. Really hated it.

I completely disagree. Though I agree that in that case the movie might not have been that big a hit but Imran would have still been rated higher than 8/10 for his completely natural and mindblowing acting.

Whatever said and done Imran has done well in his first movie.So he is here to stay.
As far as Harman is concerned,he has not badly either,although he was not top notch in the movie.Even Hraman is here to stay.
