Performances

Imran Khan or Rats- He has chosen a great script in the beginning of his career. He has done a splendid job. He was so natural, even one cannot say that he was acting for the first time. He was looking handsome, smart and dashing. He has talent and intelligence and he’s gonna prove it in the future also. I wish him all the best for future because he is the next best thing now.

Genelia or Meow- I cannot imagine she’s the same girl who did such a side role in Masti. She’s a brilliant actress. She has given a mindblowing performance. She was looking extremely gorgeous and her acting skills get 10/10 from my side.

Naseerrudin Shah- He has done a role of Jai’s Father (Amar Singh Rathore). A personality like him doesn’t need any introduction as he’s a legend.

Ratna Pathak- She has done a role of Jai’s mother and her performance was outstanding.

Prateek Babbar- He acted as Aditi’s brother and literally he was the best choice for this role. He deserves to get good projects after this movie as he has potential for acting.

The rest of the cast, Paresh Rawal, Karan Makhija, Alishka Varde, Nirav Mehta, Sughanda Garg, Sohail Khan & Arbaaz khan, all have given a wonderful performance. They were as good as lead actors of the movie.

My Take

JTYJN is a refreshing movie. I would be recommending it for everyone as it brings smile on face. It’s a realistic movie as one experiences these things especially while pursuing graduation. Since Jan, it’s the best love story of the year and no doubt, it’s doing well in theatres. If you want to spend your valuable time, then go for it, instead of Love Story 2050. I saw both the movies, and to be honest Love Story 2050 was pathetic. It was worse than Salaam-e-ishq. JTYJN rules the box-0ffice and I know Aamir always comes ahead with best things. After all, he’s a perfectionist and his nephew is following his path too.

  1. Nice review…but i am afraid to say that its a typical bollywood love story…nothing new..in fact i have seen many films on the same plot..but this one might be different cause of the way its been made..i havent seen it but i think i should see it now..

  2. Sweety Gud Review its certainly refreshing movies brings back to old Hindi movies with new comers
We have seen every part of Jaane tu in some hindi movie but when it put together it comes out quite gud & refreshing

The best of the movie is the cast & their performance all of them were brillant

It could have been completely refreshing bt abbas couldnt manage dat.Like DCH jaane tu could have gone in new direction pss….it fails to achive dat

Overall Gud Decent movie where every1 will enjoy

  3. Its jst a level better than Tujhe Meri Kassam

P.s SOme scenes in Tujhe Meri Kassam were much better dan Jaane Tu

  4. agreed aks tujhey meri kasam was cool 2…jtyjn rocks 2…xceptional movie for a first timer

  5. Watched the movie yesterday. Its a nicely made refreshing movie and works big time.

Both Imran and jenelia are great in the movie.

  6. How can you forget the dialogue by Amit?

Amit: “Tera ghar, tumhare bumbs, tu baith” :-D

  7. well yeah it wasn’t dat gr8…it was a good decent movie to watch n enjoy…full paisa wasool bt certainly nt gr8…old story bt script was written tightly….

  8. how can u forget dis one :
jais mom : woh mera pathi ka beta tha !

    THT wos awesm !

  9. overall i would like to say is genelia’s acting is superb …….
her bubbly character is simply different from all other past heroines……
in her acting we can see rich but down to earth kind of girl, sensitive, etc…….
this mixer of qualities in her acting is really superb……..
at a time she can give expressions of rich but down to earth kind of girl, sensitive…..etc………
and over all his smile i like the mostttttttttt
and i even like imran smile a lottttttttttt
imran is soooooooooooooooooo cute and coming to acting nice……..in this movie he didn’t have a challenging role…its a normal boy role…and no scope to explore his acting also….so i would suggest imran to select the movies where he can exhibit his acting skills
