Difference Between Aamir Khan & Amitabh Bachchan

As Amitabh Bachchan has lost to Shah Rukh Khan in Comparison. We are presenting you the difference between Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. The following differences are just very hard to ignore:
1. Amitabh Bachchan in his entire career had no Solo All Time Blockbuster and Blockbuster. Aamir Khan has 1 Solo All Time Blockbuster Raja Hindustani and 1 Solo Blockbuster Tare Zameen Par.
2. Aamir Khan Movie Laagan was Nominated for Oscars and Amitabh Bachchan in his entire career doesn’t have a movie which was India official entry for the oscars.
3. In era of Amitabh Bachchan there was brilliant writers like Salim – Javed, brilliant directors like Yash Chopra, Hrikesh Mukherjee, etc still he was unable to deliver Solo Blockbuster and Solo All Time Blockbuster. Whereas in era of Aamir Khan there was shortage of good writers and directors still Aamir Khan gave Solo All Time Blockbuster and Solo Blockbuster.
4. Amitabh Bachchan had an affair with Rekha and never had a clean image. Whereas Aamir Khan has clean image and had no affair with any heroine. But still he married for 2nd time.
5. Amitabh Bachchan’s controversial love story, Silsila floped so badly that it had less than 30% audience in the halls on its opening day (most halls had less than 10% audience). Whereas Aamir Khan’s controversial love story, Fanaa, broke opening week’s record.
6. With the sun, moon and the stars aligned in his favor. With the attention of the entire country and the media focused on him. With a tailor made role in a relatively poor made movie, Big B failed to save Sarkar Raj from flopping at the box office. Whereas with the whole world and the media on behalf of Big B trying to sabotage him still managed to make Tare Zameen Par a major hit.
7. Big B’s best friend (like a brother) is Amar Singh, a flop politician who a lot of Indians consider to be sleazy. Whereas Aamir Khan’s best friend (a brother) is Mansoor Khan, a highly respected filmmaker who a lot of Indians consider to be near genius.
I can go on, but what is the point. The difference is very apparent in the quality of their achievements. There is a reason why Aamir Khan is on top of everyone’s go to list after Shah Rukh Khan. There is a reason why people love Him more than Amitabh Bachchan.

Unfortuantely in era of AB Acting was more important than films.
5. Amitabh Bachchan’s controversial love story, Silsila floped so badly that it had less than 30% audience in the halls on its opening day (most halls had less than 10% audience). Whereas Aamir Khan’s controversial love story, Fanaa, broke opening week’s record.
Silsila was 1000 times better than Fanaa, even Mithun’s Gunda got a record breaking opening as all the rickshaw walas went first day first show

I can go on, but what is the point. The difference is very apparent in the quality of their achievements. There is a reason why Aamir Khan is on top of everyone’s go to list after Shah Rukh Khan. There is a reason why people love Him more than Amitabh Bachchan.
Who is more lovable Amir or AB can be proved by the fact that no one knows Amir khan outside india where as AB is a start where ever he goes.
Given all the facts I like Amir Khan as an actor but a person who can break his marriage after 14 yrs and name his dog Shahrukh is ????????????????????????????

1. Zanjeer was not Blockbuster, it was Super Hit.
2. Where does Paheli become Amitabh Bachchan Movie. If Bhootnath is not Shah Rukh Khan Movie, then how is Paheli Amitabh Bachchan Movie.
3. Amitabh Bachchan was every time overshadowed when He had same level of power performer acting with Him, example Shakti where Dilip Kumar overshadowed Him, Kaala Pathar where He was no match for Shatrughan Singha or Mohabbatein where He had bigger role than Shah Rukh Khan still was completely overshadowed by Shah Rukh Khan, etc.
4. “Silsila was 1000 times better than Fanaa”. But for paying public it was not. Fanaa was Blockbuster and Silsila was a Flop.
And bringing Shah Rukh Khan name shows your childish nature.

Guys in this thread lets only discuss about BIG B VS aamir Khan.
On this count ,i belive BIG B is better than Aamir Khan in all respect.
BIG Had more Charishma than Aamir.
Although at this moment i believe BIG B is not comparable to any of the current actors.and Aamir Khan is definitely in the TOP 5 stars today.

Not just rave reviews, but Sarkar Raj is also raking in moolah like never before. Made on a modest budget of under 20 crores of rupees, today, this film has made more money than Jab We Met and Namastey London. A collection of 55 crores in the first week and 33 crores net in the second week, Sarkar Raj is a runaway success at the box office, just third after Jodha Akbar and Race.
But more than the cash registers constantly ringing, Abhishek Bachchan’s is ecstatic about Sarkar Raj. With a big smile on his face, he confessed, “As a Bachchan fan, it was great to see dad roll up his sleeves after my death in the film, come out of semi retirement and take up for what he believes in. That scene gave me goose bumps.”
And although his death in the film was very much part of the script, Junior concluded, “Sarkar and Sarkar Raj gave me a lot. Shankar Nagre died for what he believed in. He was not a martyr and his character has only enhanced more after his death.”
After a drop in week 2, Sarkar Raj has had a stabler 3rd weekend. Strong showings were reported off theaters like Cinemax Versova in Mumbai, Inox in Chennai, PVR in Bangalore/Saket in Delhi etc. The Amitabh Bachchan-Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai film will generate profit for distributors overall and for producers for a total profit of around 20 crores.

Sarkar Raj is a flop (or a disaster if you use very tough paremeters). Which makes it also the highest grossing flop of all time (something that Akshay and Abhishek have been alternating between - JeM to JBJ to Tashan to SR).

Guys,
We have the latest news i.e. of 29th June in TOI, India leading newspaper today. I wish I could paste the cutting here. It declares that after 6 months of the year, there are only 4 films which have hit the bull’s eye and there are string of flops….The first film is RACE with 47 crores, 2nd one is Jodha Akbar with 46 cr, 3rd one is ….yes u guessed it right…SARKAR RAJ WITH 27 CR ONLY IN 1ST 3 DAYS and the collections were biggest for RGV’s film ever and even better than Sarkar. And it says….it’s till running and the figures are still pouring in. The 4th film is Jannat with 17 cr. So it showed on SR with (currently not with closed figures). So guys, it’s official and FINAL. SR is a hit. Those who don’t believe me, go and check the Times of India edition of today i.e 29th June. There is whole page on the result of 6 months. It ecen speaks of the fact that big stars fail to sizzle on TV with SRK topping the failure with his Panchwi paas show. Even Hrithik has failed but Salman’ 10 Ka dum can take a heart because it could beat SRK’s panchwi paas (now FAIL) in TRP ratings….But all the more it was bad show for all top stars on TV.
So guys, don’t belive any hog wash news. SR is a hit and it’s been declared in a nation’s leading newspaper and everyone knows that fabricated news could prove detrimental to them and here they can never do so…unlike the news here on Filmikhabar.
HIP HIP HURRAY, SARKAR RAJ IS ONE OF THE 4 FILMS TO BE DECLARED A HIT. and before u say anything, Bhootnath is above average as it was arongly mentioned by me as HIT. So i am correcting that…Even more so, SRK fans now do not get a chance to say that Bhootnath was a hit becuase of SRK’s stupid presence. So the news is not true as it’s above average, although not HIT in clear sense as SARKAR RAJ…………..YOOOOOOO MAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Sarkar Raj is a disaster, it will be out of theatres by next week.
Amitabh Bachchan tried to manipulate the media from day one to try and make it a hit but unlike 70 and 80’s the media is too big today for him to get what he wants. In 70 and 80’s it was easy because there were so few sources.
Till date Bachchan has only given 3 big hits as solo lead in Zanjeer Lawaaris and Mard and even these films are no where near the big solo hits like Gadar,HAHK,MPK or DDLJ

Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic opened to poor response of 35-40%. There were single screens at around 20-25% but some multiplexes were 50% and this was not great but better than many had expected as the film has come with virtually no publicity and music has not done well.
It had seemed that the film would go unnoticed prior to release but that has not happened. The collections for the early shows today have improved with 60%+ at multiplexes though single screens are same as yesterday.
The reports are fair and it looks like the film may actually succeed where the more hyped films like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Aaja Nachley and Tashan have failed for Yash Raj Films. Although universal success will be difficult due to very poor start at single screens the film may emerge an earner on the strength of multiplexes especially in the bigger cities. It is quite likely that multiplexes will hit 75% today and tomorrow should be 90% and decent follow through on Monday will mean the film will sustain and success for Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. The makers have also cleverly kept release costs low as they probably knew the initial response was going to be lukewarm. Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic has had a fairly small release for a 20 crore film as multiplexes are giving it 6-8 shows and the all India release is around 600 prints going to 525+ cinemas

Conclusion
It just goes to show that in Reviews also the film is failure compared to commercial movies, so forget about critically acclaimed movies like Khuda Ka Liya, Tare Zameen Par, Chak De! India, Rang De Basanti, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Swades

The Failure of Sarkar Raj has proved Audiences is not fool, whatever Critics say Audience know themselves Movie is Good or Bad. Congrats to all the people for proving that we are not fools.

More about Mr. Bachchan that , AMITABH BACHCHAN doesn’t copy any dialogue from the earlier films of ANY ACTOR. While Mr. SRK copies Dialogues from ” DEVDAAS” from Mr. Dilip kumar and also from “DON” from AMITABH BACHCHAN.
SRK is hit because of meida like Television channels which are more than 70 and on each television channels they are showing the advertisemt which are done by actors and acttess and also people watch them and they like them and then they hype them. after watching them on advertisement on 70 TV channels. There is also an INTERNET which publishes FALSE NEWS about the MOVIES OF THE ACTORS ( except MR, SRK ) AND SPOILS THE MIND OF PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO WATCH THE MOVIE OF THE OTHER ACTORS ON THEATER.
During the time of AMITABH BACHCCHAN, there was no television channels excpet DOORDARSAAN and the actors were not comming on television such often so there was no hype and no internet so nobody can write and send stupid and false messages about the actors during 1970 to 2000,
SO MY DEAR FRIEND, THERE IS NO COMPARISON BETWEEN 1970 TO 1990 AND BETWEEN 1990 TO 2010.
IF there would have not been internet and advertisement on TV channels, then I think. SRK would not exiest on the Hindi cinema as he is hyped by TV channels and internet.
