Aamir Khan’s long-in-the-making Ghajini has now been further pushed back by two months. The film was initially supposed to hit cinemas by October 3 but will now release on December 12, the same date as Aditya Chopra’s much talked about Rab Ne Banaa Di Jodi, which stars Shah Rukh Khan.
An industry insider reveals, “Aamir Khan’s film has been in the making for over two years now. But it’s far from being complete. Aamir has only recently shaved his head off for the film but he couldn’t complete the schedule as he pulled his hamstring during shooting and was advised complete bed rest for five weeks, which added to the delay. Initially, the film was to be make it to theatres by October and clash with Salman Khan’s Wanted Dead Or Alive. But now because of the delay, the film has finally been pushed to December 12 where Aamir will clash with another Khan: Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Banaa Di Jodi.”
Adding fuel to feud
The source further adds, “Aamir was very keen on releasing Ghajini in December. Last year, Taare Zameen Par was released around the same time. The actor is superstitious about the timing.”
Industry insiders feel that Aamir is just adding more fuel to his supposed feud with Shah Rukh Khan, “Didn’t he just make a dig at Shah Rukh recently on his blog? And now, he’s getting his release date pushed to clash with Shah Rukh. Whatever happens it is going to generate a lot of curiosity for both the projects.”
Ghajini director, A R Murugadoss remained unavailable for a comment.

Here one star by keeping himself behind the screen(publicity) made the normal movie OSO a blockbuster before its release. Same time there was a challenged competition against OSO but that drowned, I don’t want to take such name.
If you are a fan of Aamir then please raise a voice which Aamir can listen and postpone or pre-pone the release of Ghajani atleast for 6 months or else it’ll taste the dust.

RNBJ is a flop. To be really frank OSO was a hit becuae of the hype. Many people were pulling their hair after seeing the movie. so there are a big number of people who feel cheated by this crap. One thing to admire about SRK is his investment in media. Need to know his media budget for film promotions. Others need to learn from him. Infact they have started from end of last year with a bang. Aamir has started with lots of interviews for TZP and then the followup becoz it was one of the best film ever. Then comes his blog. Then the Samsung launch when he says he is number one and srk is number 2 (shit). then the dog. he is taking him head on. others like akshay, salman and hritik are not far behind. they r screwing SRK from all corners.
Only mistakes these guys have not takens the film awards seriously. Everyome knows how SRK buys filmfare award. It is a well know industry secret.
SRK sucess is not his acting (he is not a bad actor but a so so actor. Kabhi haan Kabhi na is my favourite). his sucess is his understanding of business. all teh actors r bad businessman. he is smart. he has some stake with filmfare, rediff, ndtv and many many more publications. from last 10 years he invested his time in building contacts and now he is eating his pie. but it will short lived because others are catching up.
again as much his business acumen should be admired, let me tell u he has lost it all with film acting or making. his primary interest is to make money by hook or crook. even at the cost of cheating.
I admire the cheek of this guy who said on NDTV. My job makes me “cheat, lie and deceit”. dont u think this guys gets away with murder becuase of his link wth media.

SRK movies(only 2) in 2007 collected a total of 210 cr nett worldwide.
Wher as BIG B movies (4 of them )collected a total of 90 cr worlwide
Abishek smovies (2 of them) have collected 85 cr worlewide.
So bothe BIG B and Abhiskek put together have collected 175 cr in 6 movies in 2007.

This is not the first time that Aamir and SRK’s movies are releasing on the same date. Earlier Aamir’s Akele Hum Akele Tum released on the same day when SRK’s Ram Jaane released. Well, that time both were unlucky as both the movies failed at the box office
I guess we will know what will happen if these two releases on the same day (previous movies deserved that fate at the box-office coz they both were bad and coincidently, both were remakes of good movies)

When the names by themselves define who is what, why the hell these asshole aamir fans are acting like this.
Shah Rukh has always been appreciating Aamir for his talent and abilities and would not expect sarcastic messages from actors like Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan on their blogs who are trying hard to prove that they are egoistic. SRK has neither spoken against anybody nor commented on their work. He has always taken criticism and comments sportingly. The recent blog, especially from a guy of Aamir’s caliber, will hurt Shah Rukh’s sentiments. A person like Aamir should appreciate Shah Rukh’s stardom, from what he started and what he is today. If Shah Rukh wants to, with the power and support what he has in the industry today, he can screw up Aamir’s hapiness and make him piss in his pants, but Shah Rukh would not become a Cheap Khan or a Cheap Bachchan.
I’m not sayin’ that Ghajini is going to be super flop. I’m just sayin’ that Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is going to be 2* Blockbuster movie. Ghajini ain’t going to do as well. I think one good thing about Ghajini is that almost all the stunts in Ghajini are done by Aamir, himself. I think he broke his bones couple of times, too.
