The ‘Ghayal’ Santoshi is back with ‘Halla Bol’

After Directing 12 remarkable movies in his nearly 17 years old career, Rajkumar Santoshi, The ‘Ghayal’ at the Box Office six times previously is making a comeback with Ajay Devgan, Punkaj Kapoor and Vidya Balan Starrer ‘Halla Bol’. His last directed six movies from ‘China Gate’, ‘Pukar’, ‘Lajja’,'The legend of Bhagat Singh’, ‘Khakee’ to ‘Family-Ties of Blood’ were not success stories at the ticket window but almost all of them got rave reviews from the critics.

‘Pukar’ and ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ even managed to get National Awards for Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgan.

Director Rajkumar Santoshi has known for making hard hitting and thought provoking movies as his Guru Govind Nihalani, He created magic with Sunny Deol in ‘Ghayal’,'Damini’ and ‘Ghatak’ making him twice winner of coveted National Award.

halla bolLets wait and watch how he is gonna ‘Bol’ a ‘Halla’, by making a Monetary Success at the box office Or by sweeping another National Award for Ajay Devgan or Pankaj Kapoor without significant box office collections?

I expect the unexpected this time after his last six not so encouraging box office performances, The Talented Genius Santoshi is all geared up to bring back ‘Ghayal’ days again.

    ghayal was of his best movie till date though havent seen Halla bol

    Talking about National Award , i thnk jury has mature lot i dont thnk Ajay might get any awards.If he does then Jury shud be blamed

    I really Love Ghayal,One of the best commmerical movies whch is against the system

    I have watched most of this directors films, his great track record had been with Sunny Deol and they already have stopped working with each other.
    Halla Bol may be different but i doubt it will get the expected success.
