Critics Best Director:
Aamir Khan (Taare Zameen Par) - Winner
Anuragh is more deserving than aamir khan,Black Friday is one the finest product. Its more complicated n difficult interms of directn ,they way anuragh has handle this movie is simply remarkable
Comment by AksFilmi on 1 January 2008:
TZP whn compared to CDI ,TZP dont look as finished as CDI …
Comment by AksFilmi on 1 January 2008:
It ll be tuff to choose between Jaideep & Amol Gupte
Mate therez no category of Script/Screenplay/dialogues
Comment by mate on 2 January 2008:
Aamir Khan for Best Critics, r u kidding Aks. First of all, that was very brief role to be considered for such a prestige award. Second that was not the leading role but a supporting one. So obviously Aamir is not even able to be considered to be nominating in that category. As a movie, I always prefer CDI over TZP. However i’ve no doubt for Aamir’s sensitive work as a director, and he ofcourse deserve Critics Best Director Award.
Comment by mate on 2 January 2008:
By the way, i dont consider Technical awards in my list so obviously Screenplay, Dialogues etc. etc. are not included in my list becoz very few were interested in those categories.
Comment by fenilseta on 2 January 2008:
Aks, every1 has his own likes and dislikes. So no point debating/suggesting/arguing.
Comment by AksFilmi on 2 January 2008:
Mate Aamir khan for best critics as director , i dont thnk he deserves that ,it was my counter statement to ur winner list
Comment by mate on 3 January 2008:
Anurag????
If i’d not chosen Aamir then i would have chosen in this order:
If not Aamir then Shimit Amin.
If neither Aamir nor Shimit then Mani.
If not anyone amongst the above three then Anurag.
Comment by mate on 3 January 2008:
Yeah Fenil everyone has his own likes/dislikes, and thats the thing which is debateable/suggestable/argueable otherwise there will be no issue in this world.
Comment by Tania on 3 January 2008:
Awesome List mate..i agree with you on all except one..Best Choreography winner should be Vaibhabi Merchant for Aaja Nachle
Comment by Arun on 3 January 2008:
Om Shanti Om (Vishal-Shekhar) - Winner
Is this your choice or prediction?
Comment by AksFilmi on 3 January 2008:
Lolz mate
Black Friday is tuff to make yaar ,anuragh did splendid job
Comment by AksFilmi on 3 January 2008:
Arun OSO had better & complete music than others ,Screen dint even nominated VishaL shekar for best music
Comment by AksFilmi on 3 January 2008:
tania !! may be mate choosen Farah Khan bcoz DarD E Disco was most popular song
Comment by mate on 5 January 2008:
Also i like to mention that in Best Debutant (Male) category, Muzammil performance is very much under-rated just becoz he has no filmi background while others have. (Like Neil Nitin and Ranbir). I think his performance in ‘Dhoka’ is very decent one and natural to the core. Also the man has an excellent physique.
Comment by AksFilmi on 5 January 2008:
Interms of pure performance Muzammil was the one .It was one of the tuff roles specailly for new comer
Comment by AksFilmi on 5 January 2008:
Mate Even i agree on ur list,Jst One Disagreement over Anuragh & black Friday
Comment by Deep on 5 January 2008:
Akshay Kumar should definately win an award, he had 2 super hits, 1 hit, and a blockbuster

best movie imo is Black friday TZP second half is too compromised
Comment by mate on 12 January 2008:
It looks like the Best Villain Award (Filmfare) will be given to Pawan Malhotra (BF) instead of Arjun (OSO).

Comment by jan on 15 January 2008:
It was TZP vs CDI
and the wnner is TZP although not a big hit than CDI but more criticl was
Comment by Saurabh on 21 January 2008:
i disagree with the best film. I think it belongs to TZP. It was a brilliant film. Chak de india was good but TZP had a deeper message.
Best director should be Anurag Basu for a movie he didnt even get nominated for which is Black friday
Best Actor- Abishek Bachan for guru
his performance was perfect.
best music- saawariya- Monty Sharma
best lyrics- Maa
best actor in comic role- VInay Pathak
in negative role- VIvek Oberoi
best debute actor- Neil Nitin Mukesh
Comment by AksFilmi on 21 January 2008:
Saurabh
i dont understand Tzp have deeper message ? than cdi
Cdi had different character different theme different message where as TZP was uni directional
Comment by Saurabh on 22 January 2008:
But everything about TZP was prfect from the music to the performances.. I saw no flaws…as for CDI got slow at times..Both films had great messages but i dont know TZP touched my heart. It was unique ans it was more then just a movie. It was a message for everyone..its about opinion i guess….
Comment by akhila on 2 May 2008:
CDI is much much above TZP.IT HAS A MUCH DEEPER MESSAGE.HOCKEY IS ON THE VERGE OF EXTINCTION DESPITE BEING THE NATIONAL GAME OF INDIA.AND EVEN SIX DECADES DECADES OF INDEPENDENCE WOMEN ARE STILL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND ABUSED.CHAKDE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.HATS OFF!!
Comment by AksFilmi on 2 May 2008:
Agree Akhila, its more profound than TZP,no doubt TZP is really brillant movie.I would have gone CDI for best movie & director
