Strangers

Sahara One Motion Pictures` Kay Kay Menon, Jimmy Shergill, Nadana Sen and Sonali Kulkarni starrer, `Strangers`, will be the only new release of this Friday.
Though the film looks interesting, it is not expected to cut much ice with the audience because of lack of face value.

Verdict: New 

Dus Kahaniyaan

Sanjay Gupta`s `Dus Kahaniyaan` was not expected to take a flying start, but the dull opening in Bombay and the weak start almost everywhere comes as a disappointment.`Dus Kahaniyaan` may be a different experience for the audience but the experience for the distributors may not be a happy one.
The movie has also underperformed in the Overseas

Total Earnings: UK $80,447 ; US $176,726

Verdict: Awaited

Khoya Khoya Chand

`Khoya Khoya Chand` may have got the critics excited, but not the audience, who expectedly rejected the movie from the first show itself. The Sudhir Mishra directed film had a horrifyingly weak first day in Bombay and a frighteningly poor start elsewhere. It is obvious that `Khoya Khoya Chand` has disaster written all over it. The Shiney Ahuja and Soha Ali Khan starrer is also a washout in the Overseas.

Verdict: Disaster

Aaja Nachle

Yash Raj`s Madhuri Dixit starrer manages to get decent collections, despite a dull start. It goes without saying that the only `star` of `Aaja Nachle` (as per the director), the last `superstarni` of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit, manages to show her star power to her detractors.
The real surprise comes from the Overseas, where `Aaja Nachle` has held on quite well.

Total Earnings: India Rs. 11 crores ; UK $660,238 ; US $425,488

Verdict: Awaited

Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal

Vivek Agnihotri`s John, Bipasha, Arshad and Boman starrer, `Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal`, fell heavily in its second week. The movie however is a below average from India, based on its cost.
`Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal` though has failed in the Overseas

Total Earnings: India Rs. 14 crores ; UK $216,941 ; US $117,101

Verdict: Below Average

Om Shanti Om 

Farah Khan`s Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika, Arjun and Shreyas starrer, `Om Shanti Om`, continues its good weekend runs.
In the Overseas, `Om Shanti Om`, already a blockbuster, continues its record breaking run.
Total Earnings: India Rs. 81.2 crores ; UK $2,612,385 ; US $3,561,742

 Verdict: All Time Blockbuster

Jab We Met

The Shahid-Kareena starrer, `Jab We Met`, continues its rock-steady reign at the ticket window. It is certain that next week, `Jab We Met` will become the second superhit of Shahid Kapoor`s career, the first being `Vivah`.
The movie is also a big success in the UK

Total Earnings: India Rs . 29.50 crores ; UK $867,194

Verdict: Super Hit

    But it was sold at huge price rite ? Im not sure abt this liked to knw more in detial

    I thnk AN is gud movie but had done below avg bussiness

    Mustafa u missed nother imp movie called Saawariya …Whats the verdict ?

    Saawariya is a Flop be it in India or Overseas. The film in 4 Weeks has collected around 24.7 Corers.
