Karz to be shot in South Africa

After garnering rave reviews for his lead role in the Hollywood film Brick lane , the actor cum filmmaker is gearing up for the remake of Subhash Ghai’s blockbuster Karz . “I’m in Kenya right now scouting locations for Karz . From here I will go to South Africa and see some more locations. And I’m going to attend Himesh’s live concert today.

I will take the story from the backdrop of Ooty to the exotic locales of South Africa and Kenya. Will the film have any similarity with Subhash Ghai’s film? “I will give it a different twists, I won’t focus on the reincarnation theory so much. Himesh will be playing a rock star in the film and he is recording his own songs. The highlight of the film will be Himesh’s songs and music.

I will present Himesh in a never seen before role,” he informs and also confirms that Urmila Matondkar has been signed to play Simi Garewal’s role in the film “Yes, she has been finalized after lots of deliberation. She’s the right choice to play the mysterious woman in the film,” he says. Now it can’t get bigger than this for Himesh.
