BO Opening Week Predicitons:OSO and Sawariya
Well its far, but not that far:So lets see what one is going to predict three weeks before movies release.One can change prediction from time to time based upon his knowledge and judgment till film release.
My Predictions (Only for India):
OSO: 28-30 Cr
Sawariya: 22-24Cr

u’re too much guys. Saawariya itni bhi gayi guzri nahin hai. Infact may be i’m little biased abt Saawariya, but honestly i’ve doubt that it may give tough competetion to OSO.
first week total in india 70 cr. looks not possible
infact going by hind sight i can say that saawariya will be 80-90% of OSo and will eat lot of oso’s collection.
The Chand nazar aaya song is definitley best picturised romantic song for me in 2007

who said OSO has just SRK—its a MASSALA movie man………but considering SAAWARIYA as underdog—is not good at all…it will give competition and will catch some of OSO’s collection! however i hope n wish OSO best—-of—-luck!

Amit: We can understand your frustration….. It’s natural for you to prefer Saawariya when your constipation is now few days old and in such a state you would naturally want to be with some like-minded, constipation-suffering people especially when you’re so confident of finding them in Saawariya and most probably also in seats near you……
However the whole world now knows that OSO is the only cure for your kind of constipation, at least for the next few weeks/months………

OSO counter has been open for just one day while Saawariya has had 3 days.
As for small centres here is booking update from a small centre (Karnal)
OSO showing at K.R, tickets booked worth 92,000 in 3 days
Saawariya showing at Ashoka, tickets booked worth 16,000 in 3 days.
Karnal is a good guide to what is happenning in small centres of Haryana, UP,Bihar, Rajasthan and MP.

Mark my words on the fisrt week OSO will do 90-100 buisness whereas sawariya would do 60-7- business.It remains to be seen who is releasing how many prints.

OSO is releasing on 900 cinemas and Saawariya is releasing on 600 cinemas. Remember that D:2 was releasing at 700 cinemas last year.

i watched both of the movie today, and if you believe me please go for SAWARIYA. there are many points in the film that should be watched. But specially for girls, go and watch Ranbir Kapoor. This guy is star of the melenium. He is so true in his acting, even better then any kapoor so far. Sonam is good, but sadly she is not as great as her dad in acting, but yes looks are important ofcourse for heroin and she is 100 points on looks. But she amange to do well what ever is offered to her. Story is a bit weak, but that really doesn’t matter because is directed well. Salman and rani both are wasted. Sawariya is really good in sense of new commers and yes the acting and dances are really good in the movie. On the hand instead of watching OSO, go and watch Karz or Karan Arjun, because it is adapted from these movies. Shahrukh is superb as ever but rest fo the cast and film story sucks badly. farah direction is completely a mess and songs are really bad and ofcourse picturized even bad. On whole if you keep both movies head to head then i guess SAWARIYA win the contest. But OSO will get a big opening because of SHAHRUKH only and sawariya will not do that well because of new faces. But my opinion for you, if you wanna light up your diwali this weekend go watch sawariya first and then OSO. if you wanna take out your DIWALA then go and watch OSO first.
well its true that ranbir and sonam r new comers but still everyone has to watch the movie sawariya and decide on the other side its king khans movie oso that probably is good to but i think everyone should say may the best director win
