   The Fact is that Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t have Solo All Time Blockbuster and Blockbuster, but Shah Rukh Khan has 3 Solo All Time Blockbuster and 2 Solo Blockbuster. Whatever Calculation you try to do this Record can’t be Beaten. Fact is Fact from 1969 Amitabh Bachchan is acting but He has no Solo All Time Blockbuster and Blockbuster.

   Forget about inflation, first look at the real record which has vast difference. A person who has been in Industry for 49 Years has no Solo All Time Blockbuster and Blockbuster, but a person who is 34 Years Junior than Him in Bollywood has better record than Him.

AB cud have been very selective but then he was confident and thats why he is legend…..let CKD complete 40 years in bollywood then u can count his flops….on one hand AB has done more than 150 movies and on other ckd 50….no comparisons.

    It’s not demand dheerendra (god, what a name you have and how you behave. you should’ve been named dumbendra) but greed that made Amitabh do so many movies, most of which were flops. Amitabh is doing more movies per year to make more money. As very few stars of yester years who were in Amitabh’s league are interested in acting today, people and film makers have little choice but to choose him.
    However, King Khan’s one film in a year makes more money at BO than all of Amitabh’s flops put together in that year.

    From where did Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam turned out to be Flop. It was a clean Interior Hit and overall a Semi-Hit and that to considering it was 6 Years in the making. Josh was not Average it was Hit. Swades was Average and Paheli was Above Average. From 2000 to 2007 Shah Rukh Khan has 2 Flops as Main Lead and that are 0ne 2 Ka 4 and Asoka.

    Sujith: If you look at it that way, Amitabh too is just an entertainer and a poor one at that considering box office collections of his films……… If you are talking about acting in the truest sense, none of our big stars qualify for it. It goes to those theater guys where they have only their acting to woo the audience (without any of the add-ons like glamour, big budgets, music, trick photography, digital effects, marketing, big sets etc. etc.).

    The diwali battle of the biggies has turned out to be a one horse race with Om Shanti Om emerging a clear winner. On Monday the collections of Saawariya had fallen to the 35-50% mark while Om Shanti Om was rock steady at 80-90% which is extraordinary for Monday in the multiplex era.

    Our (BOI) source at Eros says “Om Shanti Om is the fastest money spinner ever and in time will emerge the highest grossing film in Indian film history. It has taken the domestic boxoffice to another level. In India our film has done nett business of over 25 crore in 4 days and we expect it to touch the business of our 2007 blockbuster Partner within two weeks. Wherever we have sold the film it has fetched record prices and these prices will be recovered in one week flat. We expected the film to do very well but the collections till date are way above expectations especially if we take into account the competition”.

    The story is different for Saawariya, after three good days the collections fell apart from Monday. But due to healthy weekend there is still chance of recovery as long as the multiplexes do not drop the screens showing it heavily in its second week.********

    OSO is srk’s answer to dhoom2.SRK who thrives on competition churned out a blockbuster OSO… that too without aish,bips and LI’L C.
