Chi Chi and Lolo together again?

| The buzz is Karisma Kapur will return to Bollywood in a Rumi Jaffrey film opposite Govinda
Everyone wants Chi Chi and Lolo back on screen together. It was believed that the duo would get together for David Dhawan, but the director is busy with other commitments. However, if all goes well, Rumi Jaffrey might direct Govinda and Karisma Kapur in an Ashtavinayak film.
Says a source, “Ashtavinayak officials have spoken to Karisma and she loved the script.
Govinda too has given the nod. It’s just a matter of time before the official announcement is made.”
Jaffrey’s film will be Govinda and Karisma’s 11th film together. They first appeared in A V Subba Rao’s Muqaabla (1992) and their last film together was N Chandra’s Shikari (1999). Most of their films were mass entertainers and sent cash registers ringing.
Pair magic
Jaffrey’s film will mark Karisma’s comeback to the big screen after she quit acting to settle into matrimony with Delhi-based industrialist Sanjay Kapur in September 2003. Jaffrey is currently busy completing his directorial debut, God Tussi Great Ho (he has previously worked with Sajid Nadiadwala and Vashu Bhagnani).
Karisma and Govinda have not met or spoken for a long time, due to certain difference. They hit it off as an on-screen pair after Raja Babu, so there’s no denying that they made a great on-screen pair.
When contacted, Govinda is unwilling to talk about the project. All he says is, “I am looking forward to working with Karisma again.” Kapur was unavailable for comment.
