Free Sunjay now……

My grandmother’s favorite star in Bollywood has always been Sunjay Dutt. This is not so because Baba is her friend, the Late Nargis Dutt’s son, but because Baba is the kindest and the most soft hearted star in Bollywood. His manners around the elders is just impeccable (so I have been told again and again). Ofcourse I have seen the other side of Baba also. I have seen his temper. Nonetheless I agree that amongst the three stars in Bollywood, Jackie Schroff, Sunjay Dutt and Salman Khan, known for their generosity, Sunjay is the most magnanimous (Big B is the most tight fisted miser). People have never seen him refuse to help. At the studios whenever there are visitors, he is the most co-operative in allowing people to take photographs with him.

Keeping his all round good nature in mind, I have great difficulty accepting what he is going through. His mother died after living with and suffering the dredged cancer for a long time. His wife too died similarly after suffering a long bout of illness. Recently his father passed away also. I just don’t know how much a guy can take. Women beat their chest, go and cry from roof tops, and on every passing shoulder, for the smallest of things, but men generally suffer in silence. Society does not allow us to cry. Dealing with death of a loved one is not easy. I know, a few years ago my fiancé passed away. My life stopped for a while. But, here we are talking about a wife, a mother and a father. I cannot even imagine Baba’s pain. It is a miracle that he carries on life with a smile on his face.

Can anyone tell me what purpose will this sentence serve? For fourteen plus years he has been going back and forth to the court, does that not count for anything? Did the judge’s psycho babble justifying his decision make any sense to anyone? If you agree with me please lend you voice and protest. If possible sign petitions (if you are presented with one). Do not sit back, do something. Make an effort to free Sunjay Dutt. DO SOMETHING.

  1. we hope that he is set free

  2. i have also heard the same thing that sunil n srk have decided to start a nationwide movement inorder to gain support for sanju.but guys i believe if that happens it would send a very wrong message.people in general will think y these celebrities like sanju have been given so much of support n respect.sanju definitely has broken the law n should be given the punishment.what abut the others who got convicted in the blast case? y not free them also?

  3. its not about freeing sanjay or for that matter anyone who is a celebrity.the larger issue here is that y we guys have somuch obsessions for our stars?y cant we accept them as normal human beings n put them equal in front of law?sanjay whaever he did in 1993 for whatever reasons was definitely not a moral act.

  4. hence we cant demand to set him free even if we love him somuch.law will take its own course n decide what can be done for him in legal terms.

  5. u guys may argue there are many politicians who have done some henious criminal acts but still moving freely.yes i do admit that but when the law is trying now to resurect the lost faith of people why dont we lend our support n coporation instead of asking celebrities like sanju to set free?

  6. I agree with you crazytasa

  7. Atlast the court has taken its decision, wow wat a law system we’ve got the main criminal ‘Abu Salem’ is roaming like a celeb. He is been taken to various cities for his hearing by all good transportation. He is been wearing watever he feels like. Now thats our government the guilty is always punished. Sanjay did a biggest crime by thinking of protecting his family. So please i request all the readers dont try to protect your families or else u would also be imprisoned. This is our Law.

  8. @mads
but do u want to make people believe that u can do whtever for ur family’s protection?u can keep an AK 47 too.plz dont ever try to send such wrong message.keeping AK 47 is a crime, thats it.if everyone takes law on their own hands then i guess there will be widespread voilence, n terror everywhere.do u want that to happen?

as far as abu salim is concerned he is still in the jail.i do admit our law system has been very slack n superficial.but atleast they have realized their faults now n started to take some really tough n strict actions.

  9. it seems you have no ethics if you have to praise one no need to bring the other down .. one thing is for sure though you hate( i know u don’t agree and say hate is ….blah blah now please) but you still love Amitabh so much i’m surprised in all all all the blogs and posts of yours you bring his name .Looks like your day starts and ends with Amitabh I think you need to consult a psychiatrist for the obession that you have for Amitabh , i mean i don’t even watch a single film of his , if i don’t like some one i don’t bother about them.. but i feel sorry for you… you have more important things in life why get upset over Amitabh all the time and even in issues which have nothing to do with him…lagtha hai dushmani is janam ki nahi…cheers! life is too short why worry for others.

  10. forget abut sanju.suppose salman gets a heavy punishment for his wrong acts he has done in the past.he is also a big time celebrity. so some people may also find this harsh n start getting support for him.does that indicate anything good?what abut those who suffered from his rash driving?are they not human beings?dont have they the rights to lead a free , healthy, peaceful life?

if u ask me i m against all these kinda gaining support for these so called celebrities, icons who have been convicted for their wrong deeds .if they have really done some immoral acts then they will have to pay for this.

  11. I dont understand Y law is against Film stars , We knw they are many SHiv shene leaders who were the main cause of Bombay Roits,no action taken actions them , they were many police men involved no action has taken till now except few

They were nearly 900 people killed in bombay roits , SHive Sena leaders caught at many loaction of bombay with armours n all, Why there no cases ??

  12. I feel for sad , judge as accepted that Sanjay Bought gun for his protection bcoz his family was under threat , Even after accepting the reason sanju has sentenced for 6 years ??

I thnk we dont need a judical system which is baised to policitain n also policemen

It wud be great if its baised to gud human being

I dont understand The reason for 6 yrs , Sanjay dutt is no more threat for nation , i dont c any reason if he is not punished
i thnk he got his share of punishment , he was in jail for 16months

  13. I liked the way u’ve written this review…V V NICELY WRITTEN….
    Keep writing alwaz
In regard to Sanjay…i must say..for every sin..u have to pay here..not sumwhere else…
    love
    sweets

  14. its ok he has done wrong but six years is sick and that too at a time when we are having the best of performance from our loving sanju baba.i may advocate for 1or maybe two years but six years is a act of cruelty for a person who already suffered so much.
WE LOVE U SANJU BABA AND WE R THERE FOR U

  15. If court/judge seriously wants to punish sanjay( i dont thnk they shud do)
I got better option they shud ask sanjay to help them in social causes , To use his charmisa/power in rite way to inspire n propogate many fundamentals of law and govt
That wud be great thng instead of making Person like sanjay sitting in Jail/prision

  16. if dawood ibrahim surrenders and accepts that hes guilty, would u people say that he shd also be let off?
and y dont u guys show the same pity to othes who wer convicted along with sanjay?just cos they r not film stars?
