as i have always maintained dilip kumar has the best track record among the lot.few movies but most of them were grossers.
as far srk remaining at the top for 8 more years, that doensnt look posible.but again u can never know.
Next Year for Sure Shah Rukh Khan will be No.1 until JHODA AKBAR becomes All Time Blockbuster and Hrithik Roshan Movies to No.1. After that 7 Years will be left and I hope for Next 2 or 3 Years Shah Rukh Khan has Power to Remain No.1, after that we will see what happens.

If Srk has 2 hits this year and Hrithik has average Jodha Akbar and Aamir’s Taare Zameen pe can’t be a blockbuster, so Srk might still be the number 1. Also, if CDI dissappoints and OSO becomes blockbuster, still srk might be top 1.
Even IF CDI dissappoints at Box Office , I Thnk CDI will emerage as winner for Srk

it is not abut 1 or 2 films.anyways paheli was released in 2005 not swades.b4 swades srk had a string of hits like vz, mhn,khnh,cc,devdas etc.so 1 or 2 flop movies cant really change an actor’s position at BO.had that been the case then we would have seen a different actor at the top everytime.
if u could analyze the Boxoffice , then u would see amitabh after 1985 stopped delivering hits at a consistent pace.other actors like sunny, anil were doing better than him.but he was still at the top becoz of his excellent track records.it is the way how it works.1 or 2 hit movies cant take an actor to the top nor 1 0r 2 flops can really spell doom for anyone.
CDI sounds like a winner, as does OSO! But SRK is still nowhere near in the same league as Big B!

Yeah Akshya Shah you are right SRK is no where near BIG B ,who is at it his irritating best.
SRK has a long way to go before he starts irritating the audience.Right now the responsibilty of irritating solely lies on the able soldiers of BIG B

in my opinion Mustafa and imtef are the biggest enamy of amitabh.they are so jeilous from amitabh.sorry man if u want to say 100000000 times that amitabh is not good.but amitabh is amitabh.amitabh is on top from 1975-1991 and also in 2005.he gave in 2005 four major hits like waqt,black,bunty aur babli and sarkar.amitabh won three national awards and shah rukh khan never see the shape of national award.I will accept that srk is good actor in that time when he receive that award,so I will wait for this but I hav’n't hope that he will get.
