Akshay Kumar, the real action hero of bollywood, is all set to perform Parkour, a physical art form of French origin, to rappel down an 80-ft tall hoarding in a Kolkatta mall on June 20 before a live audience. Akki is doing this live stunt for a cola commercial, for which he has been brand ambassador for last five years. He recently renewed the contract and needed to make a meet and greet appearance for fans. But he has decided to do this in his own spectacular style of jumping from an 80-foot hoarding, halting for a while at 40 ft for signing autographs and then coming down.
As Akki explains, ‘ Any endorsement is a commitment, because I want to do it and add value to it. I like to fulfill my commitments to the best of my abilities and am doing just that. I am looking forward to it, as I will be rappelling down an 80 ft hoarding in a mall and then break my rappel at 40 ft to wave out to my fans and sign autographs and then continue. It’s action, it’s fun and I have always found it very exciting to live on the edge.’
Seems Akki wants to live up to his reputation of being an action star
