Sanjay Dutt and Mimoh in Satte pe Satta remake
Sanjay Dutt will play Amitabh’s part whereas the Chakraborty scion will play Sachin’s part in a film titled Seven

Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh, who is yet to make his debut, has already been cast in a remake of the 1982 hit Satte Pe Satta, called Seven.
He will enact the role made famous by Sachin, says veteran filmmaker Raj Sippy, who also directed the original film.
“I was shooting with Mimoh for his debut film Jimmy when I noticed that he is an awesome dancer and a good actor. These traits are a must for the dynamic character of the younger sibling in Satte Pe Satta,” says Sippy.
‘Four’ pas
“Frankly, Mimoh is one up on his father Mithun when it comes to dancing. When I casually asked him if he would be interested in doing this role, he was overwhelmed and instantly said, ‘When do we start shooting for Seven?’
In fact, I may also repeat my lead heroine Vivana, who plays Mimoh’s love interest in Jimmy, as one of the two female leads in Seven,” reveals Sippy, who has finalised Sanjay Dutt to play the protagonist made famous by Amitabh Bachchan. Shakti Kapoor, who featured in the original, will also play a major character.

Sippy adds that he is very keen on roping in Bachchan for a guest appearance in Seven, which will have five boys and two girls instead of the original seven brothers.
“Once he is through with Abhishek’s wedding, I will be meeting him,” says the director, who is considering using multiple music composers for the remake.
“It is common knowledge that the late R D Burman had tuned chartbuster numbers for Satte Pe Satta.
Since I want high quality melodies with racy rhythms, I may hire four different music directors to compose the songs,” he says.
Papa kya kehte hain?
Mithun says that Satte Pe Satta is one of his favourite films so he is happy that Mimoh is playing a part in the remake.
“I’m not saying this because he is my son, but honestly, Mimoh is a better performer than me and will do justice to his character in Seven.
Also, he’s got a huge advantage because Daddu (Raj Sippy) is directing the remake of his own yesteryear film.
This is a huge honour for Mimoh, who is already working with him in two other films,” says the proud papa.

I agree with response # 4,i would always love to see every movie which mimoh will be casting in it,fact the matter is,mimoh signs films that will have action, commedy over all everything in one,and iam certain alot of people would love to watch such movies that has everything in it,take for instance mimoh’s debut Jimmy, based on info, this film has good music, after all Anand Raj Anand and Bappa Lahri have scored it,directed by raj sipy, speaking of of Raj sipy,we all know that this director given us number of hits like satte pe satta boxer thanedaar and the list goes and on and on,so Mimoh’s debut suppose to be a hit interms of music direction and the story, iam looking forward to seeing this big movie and i wish mimoh all the success for his debut.
