With star couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai announcing to tie the knot on April 20 in Mumbai, the news has become official now.
The Abhi-Ash will be a low-key affair with no Bollywood bigwigs including Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan being invited for the wedding.
In fact the wedding will be a small family affair. And there will be no honeymoon for the couple as Amitabh Bachchan’s mother and Abhishek’s grandmother, Teji Bachchan is not well.
Amitabh Bachchan who was in London to promote the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) confirmed that the couple’s wedding celebrations would be a quiet function involving only close friends and family members.
“It’s a private personal affair. My mother is seriously unwell. It would be not be right to have any kind of celebrations. People would understand our sentiments,” Bachchan said
